Saturday Classes 2024 – 2025
For the past 17 years, Live Drama has held classes for 3 – 12 year olds, first at Southside Community Centre then, when that building implemented weekend closures, at Southbridge Resource Centre on Infirmary Street.
Earlier this year we learnt that Southbridge Resource Centre was to become the new HQ for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and that we would need to look for alternative accommodation.
We made enquiries and held meetings but nothing affordable emerged and so we have taken the difficult decision to suspend Saturday classes for this year to give us time to investigate our options.
If you have children in this age group and are interested in Live Drama classes please complete the Waiting List form as normal and we will contact you when plans have been firmed up.
We’ll miss the little ones this year and hope to bring you better news soon! Thank you for your patience.

Summer Drama Project 2025
Open to 10-18 year olds. The 19th annual Summer Drama Project runs for two weeks on week days from Monday 30th June to Friday 11th July. There are 24 performer places available on the project, plus 2 technical places for those who want to gain experience in lighting, sound and stage management. The price is £100 plus £6 per optional workshop. There is a 10% sibling discount. Assisted places (from £40) are available on application. General booking opens in February 2025.
