Niamh Orla Ferguson (2008 – 2011 / 2013)
My first memory of First Bite would be how shy I was… so DEFINITELY a looooong time ago! But it didn’t matter how many times I’d get swallowed up by fear, Rebecca was there to move the parade along and help me get to grips with what I should be doing! I remember feeling that I didn’t need to be defensive about what I was like as a person, I was accepted in all my tomboy come punk glory. As anyone who’s ever worked in hospitality will know, acting is a VERY IMPORTANT part of the job and even though I’ve never quite mastered the art of keeping my emotions off my face, I’d like to thank First Bite for helping me keep a job for longer than five minutes – it would’ve been impossible without you! The excitement and nerves of putting on a show is hard to beat, the people you were surrounded by made it all the better. Congratulations and Thank you to Rebecca and Freda for keeping such a magical place going 🖤
