What does First Bite mean to me? The world. For the past however many years… it’s been my Thursday afternoons, my social life and at times my whole life, and I’ve loved every minute of it. The people here aren’t my best friends, they are my family and I know that a lot us say that and we all mean it but for me it’s different.
I haven’t always been the confident, outgoing and talkative person I am today and I wouldn’t be if it wasn’t for Rebecca and everyone who has been a part of First Bite during my time. To think that the first time I met Rebecca I hid behind my mum, I can’t believe I’ve made it to where I am now. Family support you when you need them most and they never give up on you. This is what First Bite has been to me and so many others, I hope that it can continues to work its magic on generations to come.
I am so grateful to have had this chance to be part of something so special. I have been inspired by so many amazing people who I never would have connected with otherwise but can’t imagine my life without.During my time at First Bite I not only found my confidence but I also found my passion. Drama is my heart and soul and always will be and I owe that to First Bite.
So in this year, my last and First Bite’s 25th, I say goodbye but I also say happy birthday. Here’s to another 25 extraordinary years!”
